  • Fill out the Application Form

  • Wait for a confirmation email – interviews may be conducted for select roles.

  • Onboarding begins on a rolling basis. We’ll train you and welcome you to the team!

Open Officer Roles for 2026-2027

1. Digital Design Officer

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create graphics for announcements, recruitment, events, and tutoring program promos (posts, flyers, stories, banners).

  • Maintain brand consistency (colors, fonts, layout style) and keep templates organized for others to reuse

  • Support other teams with design needs on a reliable timeline (ex: outreach flyers, chapter recruitment materials).

  • Keep a shared folder updated with final exports + editable versions.

  • Track design requests and deadlines using the team’s task system.


2. Social Media Officer

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and post consistently on assigned platforms (ex: Instagram), following a weekly posting rhythm.

  • Write captions that match NC Tutoring’s tone (clear, welcoming, student-focused).

  • Promote programs, tutor recruitment, success stories, and impact stats.

  • Monitor engagement (likes, saves, shares, comments) and adjust content strategy based on what works.

  • Coordinate with Digital Design for graphics and with Outreach/Chapter Leaders for timely announcements.

3. Chapter Leader

Core Responsibilities:

  • Recruit tutors at your school and guide them through onboarding/training requirements.

  • Maintain chapter communication (group chat/email/Classroom) with clear weekly updates.

  • Ensure tutor professionalism: attendance, responsiveness, and student support quality.

  • Coordinate local outreach (clubs, counselors, language teachers, community groups) with the central team’s direction.

  • Submit regular chapter updates (ex: monthly) including tutor count, active students, and key challenges.

4. Outreach Officer

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contact potential partners (schools, teachers, counselors, student orgs, community centers).

  • Draft outreach messages (email + DMs) and follow up professionally.

  • Coordinate recruitment pushes and student referral pipelines.

  • Maintain an outreach tracker: who was contacted, when, response status, next steps.

  • Support chapters by providing outreach kits (flyers, blurbs, sign-up links, FAQ).
